Gaur Education Partners

About

I’m Puru Gaur.

Portrait of Puru Gaur, founder of Gaur Education Partners

Puru Gaur — founder. MPH, MBA, mentor.

I started Gaur Education Partners in 2026 because too many smart students make one of life’s biggest decisions with a brochure and a guidance-counselor meeting. I wanted to give them something better: an hour of straight talk with someone who’s been on both sides of the hiring table and thinks hard about how careers actually start.

By training I hold an MPH and an MBA. By trade I work at a director level in biopharma, where I help clients understand the data behind multi-billion-dollar decisions. And by habit, I mentor — students and early-career professionals who need someone to tell them what the world really rewards.

What I am not

I’m going to be direct with you, because that’s the whole brand: I am not a former admissions officer. I’ve never sat in an admissions committee room, and I won’t pretend to know how yours reads files. If you want insider tricks for gaming an application, I’m not your person — and I won’t take your money pretending otherwise.

What I am is someone who thinks clearly about paths: which degree opens which door, what employers actually look for in a new graduate, and — the part most consultants skip — the excellent options that don’t start with a lecture hall. Military service. The Peace Corps. Government service. A gap year with a plan. Every one of them stays on the table until we’ve genuinely considered it.

This is a family-name brand, and I intend to act like it. My name goes on the door, so my word goes on the hour. See what a session looks like →

Why this exists

Students deserve better than one door.

The standard advice narrows fast: pick a major, pick a school, apply, hope. That pipeline works for some students. For others, it’s a four-year, six-figure commitment made at seventeen with incomplete information.

Gaur Education Partners exists to widen the lens before the commitment. One honest hour — about college, about careers, or about the paths in between. No guaranteed outcomes. No pressure. Just clear thinking, written down, so you can decide with your eyes open.
